7. SON SERRA DE MARINA, NEAR MARGALIDA – NORTH

Those seeking peace will find it at the Platja de es Carbó. As this beach can only be reached by a 45-minute walk from Colonia de Sant Jordi it’s correspondingly less visited. It also borders with the dunes. The island Na Molino, on the opposite side, can be well observed from there, as well as rare bird species.

9. PLATJA DES COLL BAIX, NEAR ALCUDIA – NORTH

Those preferring to be completely alone, find Platja des Coll Baix the right place.  As the beach is so hard to reach a few tourists would brave to get there
The beach of Coll Baix is only accessible on foot. The hike there also takes about 45 minutes, but is a bit more adventurous and at the end leads even over rocks. Upon arrival we’ll see green cliffs and a completely natural landscape with bright pebble beach on turquoise sea.

10. CALA TUENT, NEAR ESCORA – WEST

Another somewhat secluded natural beach can be found in Cala Tuent. The bay is primarily known for its clear water. Also, the restaurant there named “It Vergeret” serves homemade food in front of a unique backdrop. However, the bay is not very useful for swimming, as occasionally some strong currents prevail there.
